Manage Cargoes

View a Cargo

To view a cargo in the system:

  1. Login to your portal https://portal.evessel.io/
  2. On the side menu navigate to “Inventory” section, and click on “Cargoes”.
  3. Use the search options and filters to find the cargo you wish to update and click on the view button the action column.

Understanding Cargo Properties

Access – It can be set to private or public. When the access is set to “Private” only the staff can see the specified record. When set to “Public” it will be available for all the users assigned to the exporter.

Master bill of Lading Notes – Notes to be attached to the Master Bill of Lading (MBL) when generated.

Public Notes – Those are notes that will be visible on the record when viewed by the exporter. This is meant to be as a notes holder to the client.

Enter New Cargo

To enter a new cargo into the system:

  1. Login to your portal https://portal.evessel.io/
  2. On the side menu navigate to “Inventory” section, and click on “Cargoes”.
  3. From the top action bar, click on “Add New”.
  4. Fill in the cargo form and press “Save”.

Upload and Share Documents

Once a cargo record is created documents can be attached to it using the “Cargo Images & Documents” section on the cargo page.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row nav_skin=”light” consent_include=”include” row_id=”upload-documents”][vc_column css_animation=””][vc_column_text]

Email Record

Once a cargo record is created you can email the record to any contact or emails by clicking on the “Email” button on the top navigation bar on the cargo details form screen. Once clicked the system will pop-up a mailing form.

Reply to – Must be the logged in user email or the system email. If left empty, it will be send from the system email. When this field is selected, it will receive the email response from the client if they chose to.

To – The email to be sent to. You can select from the list or type it in. It can also be multiple emails.

Update a Cargo

To update a cargo in the system:

  1. Login to your portal https://portal.evessel.io/
  2. On the side menu navigate to “Inventory” section, and click on “Cargoes”.
  3. Use the search options and filters to find the cargo you wish to update and click on the edit but on the action column.
  4. Update the records as needed then scroll down to the bottom and press “Save”.

Delete a Cargo

To delete a cargo in the system:

  1. Login to your portal https://portal.evessel.io/
  2. On the side menu navigate to “Inventory” section, and click on “Cargoes”.
  3. Use the search options and filters to find the cargo you wish to update and click on the edit but on the action column.
  4. On the top action bar, look for the “Delete” button and confirm the deletion.
