Drop off appointments is a module used to help clients book an appointment to drop off new cargo and items to the warehouse for processing. The modules has two basic statuses “Submitted”, and “Processed”.
Submitted: Is the default status for all new appointments, and it represent all appointments that has not been processed by the warehouse team.
Processed: Is a reserved status for staff and warehouse team. This status represent all the appointments that the team has processed and recorded in the inventory.
View Appointments
To list and view existing appointments in the system:
Login to the portal using your login information.
From the left side menu navigate to “Drop Off” and click on “Appointments”.
The system will list all booked appointments.
Click on the action button to view the appointment details.
You can use the filters to find a specific booking.
Export to PDF
To exporter a listed view, you can click on the “Export PDF” button on the top right corner of the appointments screen. You can filter the results by pressing the “Toggle Advanced Filters” select your filters. Once the results are listed on the screen, click on the “Export PDF” button.
Create an Appointment
To create or book a new appointment:
Login to your portal https://portal.evessel.io/
From the left side menu navigate to “Drop Off” and click on “Appointments”.
From the top menu click on “New Appointment”.
Select the exporter account you wish to create the appointment for.
Select the warehouse you wish to drop off the cargo at.
Enter the number of items or cargo dropped. The number of items my limit the number of available slots as the company may require not more than a specific number for a particular time slot.
Select the day the cargo will be dropped off.
Once the day is selected the system will load the available time slots for the selected day.
Fill in the trucking company information, the driver details, and the contact information and then press “Submit”.
Update an Appointment
To update an appointment:
Login to your portal https://portal.evessel.io/
From the left side menu navigate to “Drop Off” and click on “Appointments”.
Find the appointment you wish to update and click on the edit icon on the right side.
Update the information on the page as needed and press the “Save” button.
Note: Updating an appointment is limited to management and staff only. Exporter type users will not be able to update an appointment after submission.
Delete an Appointment
To delete an appointment:
Login to your portal https://portal.evessel.io/
From the left side menu navigate to “Drop Off” and click on “Appointments”.
Find the appointment you wish to update and click on the edit icon on the right side.
From the top bar action menu, click on “Delete” and confirm the deletion request.
Note: Deleting an appointment will delete it from the view for non-admin users. Unless it was permanently deleted by an admin.
